And thus it begins…

December 4, 2009

And it’s all your fault, my friends and family!  Yes, it is.  It’s because of you that I’ve now joined the world of blogging, putting my thoughts and questions and observations out there for everyone to (not) read.

Every year, for about the past 6 years, I’ve written an annual holiday newsletter, where I write about what’s been happening in the family over the last 12 months.  I also end up being a bit philosophical about the happenings, about being the mom of two boys, about being the wife of a wonderful man, about  going back to work after being on leave for 5 years to have my babies (we still have the babies, but we’re counting on the school system to help raise them : ), and about aging…gracefully and ungracefully.

Many of you have told me that I’m actually good at this, that you look forward to reading my letter every year.  Some of you have even said that you tear the envelope open when it arrives in your mailbox because you can’t wait to read it.  Is this true?  Or have you been lying to me all these years?

I’ve chosen to believe you / delude myself, so here I am.

In addition to writing about life, I’ll also be using Tanya’s Blah Blah Blahg to write about my work as a professional home stager and real estate agent in Montreal’s West Island.  You might find some of this interesting; after all, it’s all about “home” and we all either have or need a place to call home, right?

I hope what I write makes you think, smile and/or laugh.  I’d be happy with any one of these.

And I’ll be back soon with something a little more interesting to say… : )  Thanks for being here!
